I don't believe good design starts with a blank canvas. It starts with questions.
Question the Obvious
The first solution is rarely the only solution. I challenge assumptions before turning them into interfaces.
Complexity Belongs Behind the Curtai
Products can be complex. Experiences shouldn't have to be. I look for ways to hide complexity without hiding capability.
Design Has Consequences
Every interaction creates a behaviour. Every pattern creates a precedent. Every shortcut becomes someone's future problem.
Make It Last
A good interface works today. A good system keeps working tomorrow. I design with consistency, scalability and the people who have to maintain it in mind.

I don't see UX as a straight line from research to UI. It's a continuous process of gathering information, challenging assumptions and turning insight into meaningful design decisions.
